For those of you that were familiar with the old online shop, this new one may take a bit of getting used to, but, regretfully, the old site's software was becoming less reliable and less compatable with more modern systems that it needed to interact with, notably the secure credit card processing functions which are of paramount importance to you our valued customers. This site is now able to do all these things through the reknowned Worldpay.
It has been a bit of a struggle to find the time to move toward the launch date and there is much still to do, with many items requiring to be added that were originally on the old site. However, it is reasonably presentable and we are working as fast as possible, as time allows, to improve it. Like the old site it only contains a fraction of our total inventory but, we aim to display a good cross section of the diverse range of miniatures that we hold. Notably, we will be displaying many items that are unique to The Miniature Scene. Whether it be hand crafted items by ourselves or from many of the very talented crafts people that supply us

The Miniature Scene situated in the centre of the historic city of York adjacent to The Merchant Adventurers Hall is one of the UK's premier stores specialising in 1:12 and 1:24 scale miniature buildings, and accessories
Estabished in 1987, our 700 square foot shop stocks over 10,000 products many from talented local crafts people.
Our accessory range covers inexpensive mass produced imported items to hand crafted bespoke one of a kind quality pieces from all over the world.
With over 50 miniature properties on display of all sizes and periods there is something for everyone.
All the staff are involved in the hobby and are only to pleased to share their experiences and extensive knowledge with customers.
